Job Duties
Support the mission of Physical Plant Services Department by providing utility trade knowledge and experience in the accomplishment of maintenance/repair/development of facility buildings and equipment.
Assist other trades as requested.
To provide technical support in the development, maintenance and repair of facility telecommunication, electrical systems and equipment, and respond to emergent work requirements when needed.
Ability to interact with staff to determine problem, resolve and report corrective action.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to estimate materials, task hours, and contract service required to accomplish a work order.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed by DPOR as an Electrician.
Knowledge and skill to work on telecommunication and electrical systems/equipment.
Working knowledge of electrical code and 29 CFR 1910, OSHA Standards.
Additional Considerations
Experience with building automation systems.
Experience in a Joint Commission accredited facility.
Associate's degree in electro-mechanic maintenance.
