Legal Assistant

Job Overview: We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant.
As a Legal Assistant, you will provide support and assist with various tasks related to *Kentucky personal injury cases*.
Duties: * Medical records/billing retrieval * Lien requests (Medicare/Medicaid, Anthem, etc.
) * Basic legal documents preparation; * Electronic filing (state and federal court) * Assist attorneys with litigation scheduling and calendar management * Coordinate and schedule depositions, experts, and court appearances * Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases * Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits * Organize and manage case files, ensuring all necessary documents are included Requirements: * Previous experience working Kentucky automobile wreck cases * Previous experience working in a law office in a similar role * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Familiarity with legal case management software * Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively * Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team _Please note that all positions are paid based on experience.
