GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR MEDICAL STUDENT PROGRAM

Graduate Medical Education Coordinator Education, Licensure, and Experience: Required: • High School Diploma • Experience in office administrative procedures, and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
Preferred: • Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration or Human Resources Position contributes to Pikeville Medical Center’s mission by providing administrative support to the education of medical students and residents.
Position coordinates clinical rotations and didactics for medical students alongside physician leaders within clinical core faculty.
Administrative support for medical student education includes students primarily from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine but also visiting learners from other institutions.
Position additionally supports postgraduate medical education including residents from other institutions and any current or future internal residents at Pikeville Medical Center.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
