Determines weekly quantities of milk, bread, ice cream and snack foods based on production needs and menu.
Takes physical inventory every week and uses inventory to create orders from vendors.
Inputs inventory data into Cbord and generates requirement worksheets for all suppliers.
Maintains assigned records, reports and data that support the purchasing/production process.
Clean and sanitize facility, fixtures, and equipment following established procedures and posted schedules.
Minimum Qualifications *Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out written and verbal instructions.
* Capacity to learn and perform cleaning and sanitation procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently lift moderate (10-40 lbs) loads, occasionally lift heavy (40-60 lbs) loads, bend, stoop and carry objects.
Ability to push heavy (up to 500 lbs) carts full of food/supplies.
*Capability to work in a hot, humid environment.
* Aptitude to work as a contributing team member and customer service focused.
*Ability to work in a secure and locked environment with individuals who are experiencing acute symptoms of mental illness and/or additional forensic/legal involvement.
Additional Considerations * High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
* Prefer prior experience as a storekeeper, route delivery person, or prior experience in an institutional food service facility as a general kitchen worker or cook.
