Summary We are a Reggio-Emilia inspired preschool in the heart of Abingdon, VA.
We serve families of children 22 months to 5 years old.
This position is for a Preschool Aid Expected shift: Monday - Friday Duties Supervise and care for children ages 36 months - 5 Years in an indoor and outdoor setting.
Learn and implement the cleaning and safety standards set forth by the VDOE.
Assist afternoon staff with cleaning tasks such as: Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas.
Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, laundry and removal of trash.
Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks.
Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
Requirements Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
Have a minimum of 6 month experience with children (volunteer or professional).
Their own reliable transportation.
Mobility.
Be able to take direction, give direction, and communicate well with everyone in a respectful manner.
Be willing to clean and sanitize daily.
