The Child Care Worker works directly with our Houseparents to manage the cottage and create a structured environment, which facilitates the attainment of goals established with each child in our program.
The Child Care Worker will supervise and work with our children, keep written records, become certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Management, work an 10 hour shift during the evening hours (2 to 10 PM), help with meal preparation, and perform other duties as assigned.
The schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off.
*Must have a baccalaureate degree in human services, or an associate's degree and three months experience working with children, or have a high school diploma or GED with six months experience working with children.
Must be 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
