People Incorporated of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Teacher at the Abingdon Head Start Center.
The position is responsible for leading and providing direct educational instruction and support to children age 3-4; utilizing a research-based curriculum.
Responsible for preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate lessons plans to meet the individual needs of children.
Performs quarterly and ongoing assessments of the children's progress.
Conducts classroom-related data entry weekly.
A minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required.
Minimum of six months of classroom experience required.
